Black Friday is usually about discounts, urgency, and pushing people to buy more. At One of XX we’re not interested in that rhythm. We work with what already exists, and that doesn’t fit with a day built on overproduction.

This year, instead of lowering prices, we’re making a statement.

Why we don’t do Black Friday deals

Every One of XX piece is made from deadstock materials: fabrics that were produced, but never used. They often end up shredded or burned. Using what is already here is our starting point. Because of that, we keep production small and intentional. No unlimited restocks. No pushing volume.
Just pieces built to last.

Our alternative: one hoodie, repaired for life

For Black Friday we release one hoodie with lifetime repairs.
If it rips, we fix it - for as long as it exists.

It’s a simple idea: instead of celebrating buying more, we celebrate keeping what you have.

Why this matters

Fast fashion thrives on speed. We prefer attention.

Clothing carries stories: where a fabric came from, who worked on it, how long you’ve worn it, how you’ve repaired it. Lifetime repair is our way of honouring that relationship, and pushing back against the throwaway cycle that Black Friday often represents.

The most responsible thing you can own is something you keep.
