A Circular Streetwear Company: Right From The Start
Our clothing is made in the same factories as Paris’ top luxury brands, using their high-quality deadstock.
Clothing has become a status symbol, not something to value. The result? Overflowing closets, brief satisfaction, and growing disconnection from fashion’s real cost - on people and the planet.
As a response to a system designed to keep us consuming, we set out to develop an alternative. Right from the start: no virgin materials.
We work with timeless silhouettes that adapt to the available fabric surplus. Once a roll of fabric is selected, we measure it and calculate exactly how many pieces can be made. Each garment is individually numbered and traceable. We let the fabric lead both the product and the story, while being open and honest about the process. It sounds ambitious, but it starts with small, personal steps.
We work from both sides: one from the bench, one from the lens.
After 10 years of working with upcycling deadstock, Bas Timmer has built a network of people he trusts, and who trust him to repurpose materials in a meaningful way. For just as long, Tony Dočekal has worked with people: earning their trust to tell their stories.
Bas brings a fashion background shaped by 10 years of upcycling and designing for dignity. His experience spans founding Sheltersuit, Chloé collaborations, and workshops with Nike and Balenciaga.
Tony’s art practice centers on people who live between the lines. Her first photobook was published by VOID in 2024. She brings atmosphere and narrative into One of XX.
Beyond the clothing, we host creative workshops, partner with community organizations, and collaborate with designers, students, and thinkers who believe in working with what's already here.
Nice to meet you.
